I started playing softball at 10 years old and I instantly fell in love with the game. There are so many things I miss about softball. I miss the adrenaline rush I get when I steal bases, I miss my girls, I miss the sounds of the pop of the glove or a ball hitting the sweet spot of the bat. I normally Catch for high school ball because that’s where the team needs me most. I’ve only played ball since i was 8. Last year was my first year playing for the HCHS Fillies. I know I was way too hard on myself and i overthought simple things like throwing or hitting. I was planning to get better at not doing that this year.
